This Privacy Policy describes how Flowgi Ltd ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with our apps and websites, including FuelPin.

1. Information we collect

Our apps are designed to minimise data collection. We do not require account creation, and we do not ask for personal details such as your name or email address unless you choose to contact us directly.

• Search location: When you search for fuel prices, the app sends a UK postcode (full or partial) to our API so we can find stations near you. We use it only to answer that request — it is not linked to an account or stored in our database — though it may appear briefly in our server and security logs (see sections 3 and 4). The postcode is converted into map coordinates using a third-party lookup service (see section 3).
• Technical data: Our API automatically receives your device's IP address with each request. We use it to protect the service (rate limiting and abuse filtering). IP addresses may appear in security logs for a limited period.
• Diagnostic data: We may receive anonymous crash reports and basic usage metrics from Apple and Google to help improve app reliability.
• No tracking: We do not access your device's GPS location, and we do not use advertising identifiers or third-party tracking or analytics SDKs.

2. How we use information

Any data we receive is used solely to provide and improve our services. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.

3. Third-party services

Our apps and API rely on third-party services to provide and operate our service. These services have their own privacy policies.

4. Data retention

We do not store your searches or personal data in our database. Recent searches are saved locally on your device for your convenience — this stays on your device, is never sent to or stored on our servers, and you can clear it at any time from within the app. Our backend and security logs may temporarily contain request details such as the postcode you searched and your IP address; these logs are automatically deleted after a short period (currently 14 days).

5. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we may hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

6. Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
